Технологический визит
A technical visit is a trip by an experienced Investbio agronomist-technologist to your greenhouse, tunnel or plantation. During the visit the specialist inspects the crop, assesses pest and disease pressure and the state of beneficial populations, and then gives specific recommendations for the biological crop protection strategy – choice of beneficials, release rates, timing of introductions and compatibility with chemical treatments.
Technical visit – agronomist-technologist support in your greenhouse
An experienced Investbio agronomist-technologist works with each client, providing technical support and advice and helping with plant inspections and early pest detection. A technical visit brings the specialist directly to your site – greenhouse, tunnel or plantation.
Scope of the visit
- crop walk and assessment of plant condition,
- pest and disease monitoring – plant inspection, sticky trap checks, species identification,
- assessment of beneficial populations and the efficacy of the current protection programme,
- recommendations on the choice of beneficials, release rates and timing of introductions,
- compatibility check of planned chemical treatments with biological control (side effects),
- staff training in releasing and monitoring beneficials,
- visit summary with recommendations for the next period.
Who it is for
Greenhouse farms and plantations growing tomato, cucumber, pepper, aubergine, strawberry, raspberry, ornamentals and other crops that are introducing or running biological crop protection.
Why it pays off
Early detection of pest hotspots and a well-chosen protection strategy reduce yield losses and the use of chemical products. Regular visits, training and webinars raise the team's knowledge and translate into high-quality crop protection. The visit can be combined with online monitoring in the BioControler system.
Date and scope
The date and detailed scope of the visit are agreed individually after the order is placed, depending on the crop and the size of the site.
